Yay, My Betta Is Here

I just love Synirr, you're babies are all so wonderful!!!! I now have 5 and I love them all!!!! I was so nervous because The Flamenco Dancer was supposed to get in yesterday but my whole family was out watching Mr. Potter kick some ass in the movies until 8 pm!!! My poor fishie was still in the mail box!! Ah!!! I flipped out!! And my dad, who usually never cares about the fish, came in to see if the fish was alright cuz he was worried. And when I opened the box in almost no light, I saw just this little flash of tail and I looked closer, the little bugger was flaring at me!!!! Super excited!!! I am so happy he's such a trooper!!! So now he's all colored up and hungry!!! But he is larger than his brothers and sisters that I have so I wonder if I should be feeding them more? Anyways, pics a little later, but I wuv him already!!!

Oh good, I'm glad he got there ok! I was starting to worry a little...
I've been feeding the juvies twice a day, one meal of bloodworms/brine shrimp in the afternoon until their little tummies swell a bit, then a snack of pellets at night

Ah, that white bettas gorgeous!
Lucky you live there, if the betta was in our mail box for more than an our, he'd either freeze to death and actually get frozen in an icecube, or he would die slowly because the tempature out side is like....In the 30-40's.

) So many compliments for my little baybees! They thank you so much!

I'm happy because all my babies are so happy right now. I've almost gotten them positioned to where they all are most comfortable. This week, when I get a chance, I will do up the breeding tank (Irv is in there right now) for Mr. Flamingo. Then Irv will go to a one gallon and Allie (who is in the 1 gal) will go into the section of the split 5 gal that Mr. Flamingo is in right now.

My friend got all these jars for me for the little baybees that Mr. Flamingo and his mistress will make. They are going to be so adorable! I love what color they are, it's so interesting. Like red with bits of chrome!
