Cool, I have a few of these on order, should make a lovely plant.

I love red tiger lotus,I have seen them on amazon and really wanted it for the centre of my tank. I didn't know how hard it would be to grow it though. Yours looks like it's coming along nicely!

Yes a bit of progress each day now - very exciting to see every morning :) Except for when the Cories play football with it and I have to keep moving it back into position!

Lol that was like mine this morning, the slate cave had moved!
Did you just put the bulb into the water and that's it? I might get one if that's all you need and don't need co2.

Yep, just plopped it right in and let it sit on the gravel.
I have T5 lighting so it gets maximum light right on the bottom but that's it. It's not taking any nutrients from the soil in there because it's not rooted yet so aye - Waited about a month or so for it to show any signs of life though, this seems to be a common story among people.

Could be a completely different story as it grows larger but we'll tackle that obstacle when it comes to it :D

Oooh very good. Patience is not my strong point so I will see if I can get one or not! Can't wait to see it in full bloom, they really are very pretty.

I got given mine as a "surprise" bulb by a favourite LFS and when I looked it up I was just like wow :D

Aww that's brilliant. I saw it on amazon whilst looking for water lettuce and I did the same thing- wow! My LFS doesn't sell bulbs so will need to get it online.
