yay!!!!!!!!!!! 2 new betta

Hi guys! I just wanna tell you that I bought 2 bettas today! One is a female mustard gas and the male is a light purple. They're both ct's by the way. I was just wondering.....how come my male doesnt flare?? He's 6 months old but I think he should be able to flare by now right??

Maybe he doesn't want to. Fish have minds, they can choose to do most things. Anyway, apart from the obvious, try putting him next to another male.. Divided tank of course, or two seperate bowls pushed together.
