Xxix Olympiad

I just finished watching the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics and it was pretty good. Watching all the people from different countries march in was a bit boring but the first part with all the pomp and ceremony was pretty good. They made good use of lasers and colourful costumes. It went rather well and hopefully the rest of it will also go well.
Cheers to China for opening their doors just enough to let the world look inside. Here's hoping they do it more often

a big well done to beijing -for as i can remember
months before the event - they have to stop
all building constructions in the area-- not to mention
they need to limit the pollutions caused by motorist and more.

It actually started yesterday, but they kept the opening ceremony until today because of the 08/08/08 thing and the belief that 8 is a lucky number 

Didn't bother watching it, no need for pomp and cermony, just get the athletes competing without drugs would be more impressive.
