Looking for all the pipe work and media for a Eheim Professional 2229 wet & dry i have just bought, it came with no media and pipework as the seller used it for his new larger tank

ouch, i fear you've made a bad error here.

it'll cost a small fortune to sort this out.
personally I'd flog it on fleabay. then look for one that's complete.
you've been had. unless you paid £20-30 for it.

lets face it, the only parts people will have around. are those that broke and were replaced.
I'll wager you are looking at the neck end of £120 just to get it running.
plus its the most, problematic and unreliable of all the EHEIM pros.

Thx I think , i have found all the pipework on ebay for £20.00, so just need the media, going to have a look around for that. The reviews i found said it was a very good filter, if a little hard to get going to start with..
Do you not rate it?
