WOW!!!

Well, I haven't looked at our fish section at Wal-Mart lately because I haven't had the time. I got to work early so I though, "HM, lets go look..." well i went and guess what I found... Like 10 crowntail females!!! They were all so pretty. has anyone ever seen crowntail females in wal-mart? this is the first time I have, and they were in different containers than the rest. So anyways I had to get a few. lol. well, whenever i get my camera batteries charged up.

My walmart only carries ct females. They dont sell them at a diffrent price though. 3.49 for all bettas. Vt CT and everything else.

yeah, I bought 2 for 7.15, well, actually like $6.49 cause of my discount but i've been wanting to buy a few crown tail females but i couldn't ever find any. I have driven to ever petstore and wal-mart within 3 hours of my house, and i can't find any that sells them until now.

I was thinking about putting them into my community tank, but I've pretty much decided against that because I've got 6 females already in there and it's a 10 gallon, so i'm pretty much at my limit there unless i would upgrade, but i don't have the money for that right yet, so i'm thinking i'll either get 2- 2.5 or a 5 gallon and divide it up. i've got them separated right now in 1/2 gallons until i'm sure they're healthy. they look pretty good, eating and everything.

Good find! Once I found a yellow DT female at walmart. Brought her home, and another cambodian female. Within weeks the cambodian developed her CT tail!!! (Sadly, I learned the hard way that 2 females cannot live peacefully in a 5 gal together )

But awesome find, I want some pics of your new girls!!!

I'll post some just as soon as my batteries charge up!!! I just found my charger like 2 minutes ago so it may be a bout an hour or 2. lol. They're very pretty. lol, they've got me considering going and buying another 10 gallon for another female community. don't have any place to put that though...

I just noticed that it looks like she doesn't have an fins on the second one, she does, they're just translucent(i guess that's right. lol),
i haven't named them yet though...

thanks, they're so small too! it may not look like in those pictures but they're only maybe an inch 1/2 long if that. they're bodies just look so thin too. I'm pretty sure they're healthy too because they are eating pelets, but they're so small i have to break them up so they can get them in their mouths. lol.

They are very nice. I really like the second one. I am partial to lightly coloured bettas.
