Would you remove UGF & power head?

I am currently on my 35 gallon using an AquaClear 402 power head with a UGF. In addition to that I am running an AquaClear 200 power filter. This setup has been in use for 10 years with no problems. So, if you had a chance to redo the hardware my question is, would you remove the UGF & power head or say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"??

IMHO ugf's are old hat and there are more effectiv filters available today.

Yeah I know UGF's are old school B). That's why I'm also using the power filter which is rated for 50 gallons.

Anybody else have a thought?

i took my UGF out but keeot the powerhead in there, works fine for water movement

If you have sufficient external filtation, then I would probably remove it, IF, I was going to totally re-do the tank, otherwise not.
