In my damsel(blue yellow tailed)55G tank with sandy bottom, artificial corals & artificial rocks, 1 power filter, fluourescent lights, I've had a great success for the last 2 years. Now I would like to add some live rocks. Does this mean I need to upgrade the lights? I don't have any plan to add live corals.

No not at all, just make sure its fully cured LR otherwise it may produce ammonia spike as you might get a bit of die off when its been out of water for a while.

As above. Make sure the rock is cured and that you have enough flow to turn the tank volume over 10 times an hour minimum, that is 550GPH of flow, or the rock will "uncure" due to the flow not getting to the inner extrematies of the rock. See yourabove post for quantities of rock required. ;)

if you ever intend to keep corals then you may want to aim for 20x flow. But as rabbut says 10X for rock only is fine
