I know 2 would be ok but im just in love with them

If 3 is to much just tell me

I know that you lot know best as you have experiance, this will be full of plants and hiding places but I just want to be sure, is 3 to much or..?

If you put in alot of wood, plants and hiding places then yes.

im not sure mate, you could have one puffer that will take alot of stick, but it all depends on personality.

But im not so keen on taking a 3rd puffer to see if its okay, if not then take it back

Id stick with 2, i had 2 in a 20gallon and it is VERY VERY heavily planted, and hell would still break out

But its up to you!

if you get 1 male and 2 females, and heavily plant it, there shouldnt be too many issues, its very dependant on the actual fish
