Would This Be Ok?

Hello. I am wondering if I can add two black bared silver dollars to my 55. I would be putting them with 4 redhooks,3 kissing gourmims,about 12 black tetras ,and 2 fourlines. I am wondering if the redhooks and the black bared silverdollars will fight??? I am interested. I know they get only 5 inches. They might shoal.

They should be fine. Trouble only occures in small tanks with only one or two fish. With no otheras to shoal with, they can get stressed. You may find that Black barred myleus dont shoal with the others for a bit. If this persits, they will be under stress and you may have to take them back to the shop and Myleus HATE not shoaling and if the fish arnt, then its a shure sign sometings up so you may need to exchange them for other fish.

Thanks for the info. I am going to try it. The fish store has them with other redhooks and spotted silverdollars. I am getting them saturday. They are 5 inches. I am going to get 3.
