Would This Be Good?

For my 11 gal tank i will be getting a 25 watt florecent light. Does this work out to about 2.5wpg?

and is this a good amount of light ? i dont want a very dimly lit tank. I want nice and bright (not too bright though)

I only have a java fern so thats not a problem.

from what i understand 25w is too much light without injecting co2, will produce masses amounts of algae as you will not have enough plants to get rid of it. IMO i would get a lower w light

That is the lowest the lighting goes at my lfs.
