Would Tank Be Too Heavy 2nd Floor Maisonette

Hi everyone,

my mum lives in a maisonette, living room is up more stairs. I want to get her a new fish tank for xmas.

i've been looking at Juwel Trigon 190 and the 350. the problem is that the 350 is 377kg/almost 60 stones when full. Would it fall through the floor?

You should be fine if you cansite your tank next to a load bearing wall. Make sure it is a load bearing wall and not just a stud wall. An easy way of finding out is to knock on the wall with your knuckles. If it sounds "hollow" than reckon that it's a stud wall. If it sounds "solid" then assume it is a load bearing wall.
Normally in GB a load bearing wall will have girders and cross members for support.
