Would Like An Oddball To Go In My Malawi Cichlid Tank

Hi,
I would like a oddball to go in my malawi cichlid tank. It can't get to big around 10'' or 12''. So it will have to be able to survive in a PH of around 7.5 to 8. I would like an eely thingor something cool like that. Maybe a senegal birchir.

I think there's a tang. lake eel don't know much about them though they can get quite big. Not sure how well they'd go with mbuna.

A bichir may work aswel.
