Worried about possible each breakout?

Hey guys, I just started cycling a 10g with some platys. The fish looked pretty well when I got them .... second day a white dot appeared on one of the fish. today, there's two dots and another fish has a dot too.

the dots are located on the fins.

the fish are acting alright ... the temperature is 78 degrees and I'm using some stress-zyme to accelerate the cycling process.

I'm worried as to whether or not it's ich ... they're not exactly breaking out, I remember last time a fish I had got infected with ich it exploded all over the fish over the period of two days ... not a dot here and there

what do you guys think?

Yes it sounds like itch to me as well, if it looks like they have been sprinkled in salt, turn temp up, and if your fish can tolerate salt I would add that to the tank aswell.

yea, defn increase temp to at least 85-86F. Also don't forget to keep on treating 5-7 days after last symptoms can be observed.

Ive been told that the couple of spots on my fish's tail/fins are calcium spots and I chose not to treat. They never spread to the body.
