Worms On The Glass And In The Water!

i had a fungle infection in my tank a month ago and it killed all but my two pearl gouramis, an angelfish, and my bichir. it seems to have stablized as i haven't lost anything for a few weeks, but now i can see hundreds of these small, only a cm long, white worms on the glass and in the water!!
what are they and are they bad for my fish, like if they get into their gills??
help please
