Hello.

I have started seeing more and more of these gross little red worms in my tank. Normally hiding in my sand but also the crawl onto the glass and sit just above the water.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - ideally if they are harmful and if so, how to remove them

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

How do they move?
Can you post a short video of them moving?

They could be leaches. Rock salt (aka aquarium salt) usually kills them (2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres of water for a week).

Hey! Thanks for the reply.

I can post a video later today, im at work right now.
I have aquarium salts at home so I will start with that ASAP:)

Thankyou so much!
