I have a 20-gallon shrimp tank that's only around 3 months old with less than 15 shrimp in it. At night when I went to turn off the lights, I saw these worms that were on the gravel and and rocks. My first thought was detritus worms since I did have those in the past but these worms were brown/red and longer than the detritus worms I had in my tank before. It also could be the fact that I used seachem fluorite red with no cap that caused the worms to be brown/red but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

tubifex or black worms, nothing to worry about. The fact they are growing in the substrate just means the conditions are good.
