hello

I have a small shrimp tank set up. After a few months I’ve noticed worms....they have continued to expand in numbers and take over the tank...even after water changes...
They don’t like the light, and stay on the glass quite a bit, some others are tiny and just swim around.

Are these harmful to my shrimp?
I would love to find out what these are so I can treat these pests and get rid of them!

I’m worried that I have crossed contaminated with my second tank

Thanks in advance
Kerry

They are just detritus worms. As their name implies, they clean up waste and detritus. They are not harmful and are not pests. Guppies and mostly every fish will eat them. If you want, you could feed them to the fish in your second tank.
