not sure if anyone cares but i thought id update about my current spawn..

the orange male and red female beat the snot out of each other, so i tried the brown plakat that bred with the red female before..

im pretty sure that they have embraced... the female looks quite a bit skinnier, and there was an egg hanging out of her egg spot lol..

the bubblenest is massive and thick.. kinda sagging..

i think ill take the female out tonight if i dont see any more embraces..

hes actually more dark brown/black with yellow/green fins but the cam kinda makes him look weird

im pretty sure but ill leave the female in ... she still goes under the nest and he still flares at her...

so i think they will do some more embracing

just take your time in conditioning the female..

my female was conditioned for quite awhile after her last spawn..

been like a month or more since her last spawn..

her tail and fins are ripped but pretty bad, but shes still wanting to breed with him, so i leave her in...

and since shes conditioned well i dont think she will have problems healing..

conditioning is key

could get some cheap bettas from there...

i know theyre not the greatest, but if you treat them right they should live long
