I wan to have some wood in my tank but my lfs doesn't sell bogwood. somebody used apple tree branches, could I do this with any tree? where can I buy bogwood? :D Thanks

You probably cant do it with any wood, because some may contaminate your water or be harmful to the fish. Only place where they sell wood that is safe is at a lps but if you find some wood make sure that is is clean from debris and if you need to you can boil the wood or but some vinegar on it to see if it fizzes.

There are a lot of places online that sell it as well. I've seen it on e-bay too! One of our great members collects it in Florida as well - she has had some very nice pieces in the past. :D
