Would the clown loaches devour a big wood shrimp, or become acquaintances with it? I know that clowns absolutely love to eat snails, but shrimps are a different story, right? It's hard to imagine small 2" clowns (their current size) eating a 2" shrimp?

Also, how do other loaches (i.e. yoyo's) do with big fan shrimp?

Not sure about wood shrimp, but when I kept Yo Yo loaches in the past (back in the day they were called Botia Lochata), they had no problems eating my ghost shrimp. It would probably be OK at first, but I think once the clowns get bigger they wouldn't hesitate to try and eat them. Not sure how long you would be able to keep them together before it became a problem. My Yo Yos ate ghost shrimp when they were a mere 2 inches in size. The same would go for the Yo Yos and the wood shrimp, probably OK at first, but it might get dangerous later. Of course, with the YoYos you'd probably have a much larger window of the time with the shrimp not being bothered by the loaches Of course this is all anecdotal and not really first hand experience. YMMV.

I kept armoured shrimp A.gabonensis with clown loaches.
they were fine for around a year, then one night the clowns had a feast.
don't risk it, it is not worth it.
