i rea on a website that if your fsh have whitespot you cn gev the fish a freshwater dip and this will disslodge the parasites. is this correct.

nope fresh water dip till it shows sign of stress then in a qurenteen tank!

i wouldnt recomend it, more fish die from ich treatment than ich itself, if the fish is healthy it will fight it off no problem, in a way qt and treatment is the worst thing you can do for the fish since there usually bare and can stress the fish out even more

if you havent got an ich break out get a neon goby ive heard they can keep things in check there feed off the parasite and also mouth infections etc! and they dont grow alot.

and its best to treat it before it spreads .... the ich on the fish is the first stage if i remeber corecclty
