Just thought I'd tell all of you what I'm up against today. Some of you may have heard me mention that I'm having my floors done (carpet to laminate). My buddy who owns the flooring place came yesterday afternoon and said he's coming today to rip up the carpets!!! That means that since yesterday afternoon, I've been moving all the furniture out of my living room (have to do Jenica's room, too). Not such a big deal. EXCEPT FOR ALL MY FISH!! I have to net all my fish out of all the tanks in the living room, drain them, relocate them to somewhere else in my house (as if I have any more available outlets!!), refill them, and put the fish back in. It's gonna be too long to leave them out of their tanks the whole time. Wish me luck!!!

Yikes! Good luck indeed! Sounds like a nightmare...but I'm sure you'll love the end result of your floors...

just a thought, and probably too late now
but why not lay the new floor around your tanks?
make sure you keep enough laminates to cover the area should you decide you need to later.
or resurface under each tank when you can do it quickly ;-)
