Yes quite happily. Get lots of vallis and maybe something like some java fern and they will be very happy.

Just remember, if a pair decide to spawn they can get aggressive towards others so make sure there are caves that they can stay out of the way and defend peacfully.

Vallisneria, a type of water plant that has long stringy leaves-like water grass or reeds only flat. Sagittaria might work too as it looks almost the same.

Sorry yes, should have explained properly! Any tall fairly hardy plant will do but vallis is perfect and readily available.
