Hey guys, I have to go away from home for an amount of time (I don't know how long) and I have some fry/juvenile goldfish. I have someone feeding them every two days, but will that be alright?
My dad thinks we will be away for a maximum of 8-9 days. They have some natural food (probably) and there aren't that many of them.

Thank you for any advice!

Larger fish getting hungry would be my biggest worry. I would feel alright with my young guppies at 2 days, perhaps a knowledgeable goldfish keeper will chip in.

Fish can do without food for a long time. But that's not the issue here for you do have someone to look after them. They should be okay.

Since you have someone else feeding them for you, you might want to leave pre measured portions for them to feed to your fish. People who don't know much about fish are very prone to overfeeding.

Agree with the above, overfeeding can lead to a bad situation, quickly

They own fish themselves so it should be fine, they come and feed our fish when we go on holiday and we do the same :) and I advised them on their fish to start with as well.
