IMO this isn't a subject for a poll. Bettas are all different. One may be good with swordtails and another not. Mine isn't good with them - in fact he finished off my male swordtail within a day or so. It's really a matter of luck whether you get a peaceful one or not.

i voted no but some betas would be ok... have you got a pic or a type ..?

my betta is a good boy in the community tank except for the swordtails. he did not like them ( i say did beacause I bought a 10 gallon tank this last weekend to keep the swords and platties in.) He tore the dorsal fin on the biggest of the male swords up pretty bad, finrot set in within a day.
