I have some fry that are just huge, and some that are tiny. I was wondering, in an attempt to get the tiny ones at a decent size, could I seperate them (about three at a time) for a week or something by putting them on a heat pad, and feed them extra? Would that work?

Just curious, because there are some about the size of three and a half week old fry instead of four and a half week old fry.

Divide them in half if possible. Put the tiny fry in one tank and the bigger in another.
They'll catch up when you start jarring the larger fry if you just leave them though. Provided they're not being eaten or anything.

At this point, they really should make it. They aren't edible-size compared to their siblings.

But, yeah, Wuv's right. (And I could have told you that if you'd asked me!) ;)

(yes, everyone, I've seen the fry in question...)

Yes. Split them up into two tanks. One is for smaller and the other is for the big one. I have 10 gallon tanks always ready when I needed. That is why all my babies kind of mixed up at the end. LOL.
