Will ich cure hurt my bacteria?

Hi,
I started Quick Cure along with the usual freshwater salt for Ich because of one fish (barb)
I am just curious if this will harm the biological media in my Fluval 104?
Also...do i do the recommended 5 day dose or do i do it for 14 days, like some people suggest (estimated lifespan of the Ich)

This will have no affact on the bacteria in the filter what are you using WSM?

Use the quick cure for 5 days along with salt, then switch to melafix for 5 more days. Should clear up after 4 days, but you want to make sure its completely died off before stopping medication.

I know that Rid Ich + by Kordon does not harm biological media and it works faster, and is cheaper than other medicines.
