Will different species of cory form shoals together? (I.E:peppered corys, albino corys and bronze corys)

Certain species may shoal with certain species (or any if they are in danger) but i would never recommend it, they really do deserve a group (6+) of their own specific kind.

Albino cories are bronze cories, so they will. Generally I imagine they would shoal together but rather than a mix and match group, getting larger groups of one or two species is recommended.

I tried it in my last set up. I had some bronze, albino, sterbi and panda bit they never shoaled about together at all. Ever. There was no fighting or anything though, they just kept to there own species.

My tank is full of cories! I have loads of different species because they are all rescue cories. I have 4-5 bronze, 3 pepper, 3 albino bronze, 2 pandas and 2 sodalis (or something like that!) and 2 sterbai.

None of the species mix except when they are feeding at the front of the tank, other than that the species stay seperate!

Personally I like having groups of 4-5 of each species and 2 - 3 species but thats just me and depends how big the tank is.

Even with the same species, there is no guarantee they will shoal together.
With our 6 peppers, 5 will trundle around together and the other 1 does its own thing like billy no mates!!!

The point is that they will not get stressed if they want to shoal, not that they will hang out together.
