I want to get some panda cory's in the future will they uproot plants such as cabomba and elodea which don't have alot of roots(mine don't any way lol)?

Mine do. Every two days or so I have to stick my new, rootless stem plants back into the substrate because my corys knock them out

ive never had problems with corys uplifting plants. i dont think they would be strong enough to be honest....

I have both them plants in my tank, and the corys never uprooted them. My substrate layer isn't very deep, but I put about 2 inches of the stem of them plants along the bottom, and just cover over with substrate. Even if ya cover over a good length of the stem, they very quick growing plants,

You folks must have some wimpy Corys. I haven't been planting in any of my tanks as they are uprooted, within hours. Now I just put everything in very small terra cotta pots, or I just weight them down and let them sit atop the sand. - Frank
