I have one rescued Brochis splendens but because of his size, I know I can't get many more of his kind. Since I'm keeping him regardless (I love him) I'm wondering if some dwarf corys would school with him. He's in a hospital tank right now with a rescued molly and I think he has even tried to school with the molly.

Thanks for your advice.

Im sure he will be happy with fish of his own type in a tank, it doesnt matter hugely if corys are not mixed with the exact same species. There may be less playful activity but he shoudl feel secure in his surroundings knowing hes not alone gobbing around on the bottom. :)

Give us a few details about your main tank (size, temp, filters, current fish species and numbers etc.), you might be able to safely buy another two or three B. splendens to go with the rescued one.

How many rays are on the Brochis' dorsal fin? Its the easiest way to ID young Brochis from the different species, my B. multiradiatus have ~17.
