Will apple snails help?

I was just thinking, if i put apple snails in the tank while fishless cycling would they help it speed up or would they die off like the fish would?

Don't put any livestock in the tank until you're done.

apple snails are just as sensitive to water quality as fish, if you want them in your tank id wait untill you have done ur cycle
