You mean the glass box itself? It shouldn't really matter, but i would prefer to try and get one with a thicker glass just for peace of mind, especially the bottom, seeing as you'd be putting in alot of heavy rock and pumping around alot more water than in a typical FW.
Also if you're planning to get a sump then it might be easier to get pre-drilled tanks with a weir so you don't have to bother doing it yourself, but quite a few of the people here have done it themselves (or got it done for them) and could probably give you pointers. It's not all that difficult to do so it's really not much of a restriction.
But overall it shouldn't matter all too much.

you can't drill tempered glass either, so try and get normal.
But other than that any

Oh if its 2nd hand dont buy one that has blue blobs on the sealant as it may have been used with copper meds at some point which are bad for inverts

yeah its a lot easier to get a tank already drilled with a overflow and everything...but if you want a smaller tank and want to drill its really not hard i drilled my 40 gallon first try. Just remember to use constant water flow and do not apply pressure let the drill bit take pressure from the drill itself.
