So today I went to a trout farm in Sedona, Arizona to catch some fish and I spotted some snails and caught them. After researching it looks like they are mexican ram horn snails. I put them in my tank, (only after making sure they aren't diseased or bringing any nasties in.), and they are getting picked on by my swordtails. I know the fish are too small to eat them but they won't leave them alone. Its mostly 1 or 2 fish that do the bullying and the snails just stay cooped up in their shells. I'm afraid they'll get hungry but will be afraid to move! Also, will the snails be okay? A normal freshwater aquarium should be suitable for a few wild snails, right? Another thing, on of them has something weird attached to it, like a disc. I'm thinking its snail eggs but I read that ramhorns don't carry their eggs? Maybe another snail laid them on its shell?
Thanks a lot, first timer with snails here, any help is much appreciated.

I think people are not responding because few if any are going to know about these particular snails. So we can't answer you specific questions if they will be alright. If the fish are persistent about pestering them then really no, in the long run they won't be okay. Not certain what more to say. Good luck with your experiment.
