nah these dont fight , like all fish when ready to spawn it can get heated. best to seperate then anyway for them to spawn without hassle from others, then once there done remove the female as she will bug male to spawn again and he will swallow the eggs. "moothbrooders" holds eggs for between 10-15 days depending really on conditions temp etc.

again, these are a treat! wild betta's are heavily under-rated in favour of fancy b. splendens IMO!
