well my bf is gettin me the 29 tank tomorrow, (i put it on my sig earlier cuz i knew i would get them) and so as my order on big als online it only took 3 days to arrive, im buying the sand right know (in my previous order i got the heater, and filter and a 3/4W of mini moonlight for the 10 gal, wich it looks awesome! :D) and so the question is,

should i get the seacheam onnyx sand which it comes with some substrates, for planted aquariums, or should i get the Carib Sea Black Tahitian Moon Sand (both are black) ? both are really unexpnsive on big al's but iwas planing on get the two of 'em and mix them up and with what was left put it on the 10 gal..... mmmm what should i do!

thnx again for time and patience! and if someone plz post any suggestion u have!

I'd go with the tahitian moon sand. a few people on another board have used it and it looks great plus they didn't have the foaming issues I had with the estes stuff.

Are you doing all black or a mixture of the black and play/pool filter sand?

mostly black im not sure about the play/pool sand :/ if i find it somewhere i will, but i cant find it newhere i'll to homedepot tomorrow to buy some cement blocks or somethin to do the stan wich i already have the part where the tank stands, i kinda need the legs :p

If you're going all black I'd DEF use the tahitian moon sand.

unless you're going heavily planted your plants should be able to asimilate their nutrients from the water.

ooh! okie dokie ! got it! but i'll buy some anyways, just to prevent.... 7kg (15 lbs) outhere is 24.99 and on big al's is 11.99 right choice to make?
