Why Tank?

well i got 5 of my females guppies which are pregnant and i want a new tank to let dem breeed but could a big plastic box work instead of wasting a lot of money on a tank why not spend 2-3 pondes on a giant box?
and i'll but a little filter and heater aswell..
and will frozen brine or blood worms work with my fish den live one?
how do i know when my guppies are going to give birth soon ?

yes you could use a big plastic container just keep an eye on the heater.
when your guppie is ready to give birth she may stop eating,she may hide or stay down near the heater
i think they usually give birth in the early hours of the morning.

yep like the dude before said you can get a plastic tank, so long it is only for temporary use..and it will need evrythin as a norm aquarium need (basic requirements)

I saw some superb translucent storage boxes in a cheapie shop yesterday - they would hlod about 12 gallons & make great grow out tanks for £3.
The trick to using plastic boxes is a glass plate on the bottom to stick the heater to. Air driven box filters work well in fry tanks.

yes bowes will easyly work but i would get to 2 and stack them just in case.

Does "dem" mean "them"? and does "pondes" means "pounds" and does "den" mean "then"

erm...I have seen a lot of this type of grammer in forums recently, is this the way to go? or am I just old fashioned and prefer "proper" spelling...?
