Okay....... I'm still not convinced... my plec (common) is the ugliest guy I've ever seen :p he's around a foot now and currently shares a tank with oscars, a jack dempsy and a midas cichlid  still the ugliest thing I've ever seen... and I've see a oscar eaten by piranahs *shivers*

I find a problem here... a pleco tank??? plecos can get territorial at larger sizes... I'm not saying that yours might not be aggressive... but come on a 70 litre tank?! 5 or more plecos in there!? Get atleast a 55 gallon tank for them if your going to keep a pleco tank... 70 litres is like 25 gallons or less.......

If all the plecos are small ones or juveniles then it shouldn't be a problem. I have 5 in my 21g but they are all smalll and will be moved in the next few weeks. I've had no problems with aggression at all, in fact they ignore each other. I also have 5 in a 42g and again no signs of aggression.
There are plenty of pecos that don't get very big and as long as the water is changed regularly and the tank cleaned as well as decent filtration then I really don't see a problem.

Point taken... but I still find it to be a bit "dangerous"... But hell I'm not pleco expert... Do what you want your choice not mine anyways
