Sure, I don't think it's dying because it moves its shell flap, occasionally poking its head out. It's been floating for 2 days now. Still alive though, I just checked.
Basically what techen said.if it has not got the energy to attach to a solid surface then it is prob not good.try putting snail on a surface yourself to see.
No bother.how old is your snail.do you have any others?
Snails do this in the wild.sometimes floating in the current.it can also be trapped air.but in the home aquarium it's quite rare as far as I know.
