Hi guys,

The past few days I've noticed my Electric Yellow Labidochromis has started getting fat. Its either sick or has eggs. After some research I've found its a male and not a female. Im a little unsure as to what to do? Could use any tips. Thanks

I had a fish that looked pregnant but was male. I think it got a blockage. The food I was feeding seemed hard to digest and seemed to cause fish to bloat. Mine were omnivores so I could feed high fibre veggies that seemed to help. Also stopped feeding for a couple days and fed less following that.

I don't have much experience with sick fish, but I did once have a fish come in from the shop that had worms. His belly was lumpy. I took him back rather than medicate him on my own (the fish store ended up qt-ing the tank and medicating the whole tank). But your Lab has more of a rounded stomach than a lumpy one.

Is he pooping, what does it look like compared to his normal poop?

I agree with the rest.
It's either bloated or body organs expanded.
