:dunno: can anyone tell me why my albino corydora is sooo fat? the other one I have is small but my big one is so fat I think it is going to blow up.

Can you tell us more about your tank like how many gallons it holds, how long it has been set up and what and how many fish do you have in it?

what do you feed them? Do they get any vegies? He could be constipated, or maybe he is just a pig. I have one that is just a bit bigger then all the rest, he is always the first one chowing and the last one done. Little piggy boy.

Could it simply be that he is a she? Cory females are quite a bit bigger and fatter than cory males.

True, but they don't usually look like they are about to explode though...

True. I wasn't sure how literally the poster meant that.

Is there any chance of a picture, something might show up there?

Is the cory behaving normally, seeming happy?

Hi Natalielockett :)

Welcome to the forum! :flowers:

How does your cory look otherwise? Is it eating and swimming normally? Is this something that happened suddenly or gradually?

If all is well, it could be that you just have one male and one female albino. And, if this is the case, you might see little round eggs on the tank glass soon. :D

If you can post a picture, I can tell you what their genders are. On the other hand, it is possible that your fish has an illness called dropsy, but this is unusual among corys.
