Why Does My Usd Catfish Like My Filter?

My upside down catfish loves hanging around the bottom of my filter, no he isn't stuck. I give him tons of plants, rocks...ect. to hang under and stuff but he prefers to hang around under my filter. I am not to concerned about it I would just like to know why?

They will often pick a spot and hide the most days as long as there not spooked. I have 3 i hides behind the heater another on has bug a pit under some wood and the other one stays in the slate cave so they will hide anywhere.
