why do we all luv bettas soooo much.

my reason for luving bettas is that you can get them all in different colours petterns and types but my main reason is their personality ive got 2 bettas not as many as some of you people but i luv em to bits they are both different, for example one of em my male doesnt eat flakes off the top he only eats them when they are sinking and my other the female eats anything she especially loves peas.

and the female jumps for her food but the male doesnt and my male likes watching the bubbles in the tube

I just luuuvvv my lil' guys!! Their personalities are all so different...They crack me up when I sit and watch them, at night they all get frisky (for some reason it always happens around 9:00 at night...hmmm) Watching them sit and try to stare each other down, "stalking" each other through their tanks, and finally by the time it comes to the "flare down" I'm usually ROTFLMAO! They think their such little bad a**es

You just have to love the "Feed me!" dance. It melts my heart every time I see them do it.

I also enjoy the personalities of the bettas more than my other fish. Maybe because the bettas are so individual by having separate homes, colors, etc. My platys mostly look the same. So do the tetras and the corys. The bettas are easy to tell apart, and they pay more attention to what I'm doing and interact more. The other fish only say "feed me feed me feed me".
