Why are my males fighting?

Please help, not sure if I should separate them, or what.... I don't understand why my 2 males are fighting. I have a 20 gallon semi-brackish tank with Mollies, exclusively. Readings are below. I recently added an Orange Sailfin Lyretail Molly (M) to my tank that was previously housed by only 1 male, and 4 females (yes, he had lots of fun) . Now I have this new male and they are fighting. I thought they were peaceful fish? Will they keep fighting? If I had a tank with nothing but males, would they all fight eachother. Or could it be because I recently removed a very pregnant female to a Pregnancy Quarantine Tank (PQT) and there are only 3 females now?

0 Nitrite
0 Nitrate
8.0 ph (steady for a long time)
1.008 specific gravity

Watch them, but normally they are will give this a rest in a few days. They are trying to sort out who is the dominant male in the tank. HTH

I had to seperate my males a long time ago,it didn't stop. I had a lyretail highfin and a sailfin,and the smaller lyretail would go after the huge sailfin kicking it's butt. I had to seperate them in two 20 gallon tanks. They were viscious,no chasing and just nipping,they would bite onto each other and rip. Crazy stuff.

Boys will be boys - I never worry about it unles someone is getting hurt. They usually figure it out and I've never really had damage with mollies...

Ok, I just woke up and my Platinum Lyretail has one clamped pectoral fin on the right side. It's an... orangish color at the base of the fin. It doesn't look otherwise damaged or "eaten".

I'm not sure what to do... could that be caused by the other (bigger) male Orange Sailfin Molly?

I think I will go ahead and separate them. This is rediculous. I have only mollies in all of my tanks. I will update my signature to include those

Any advice?

yes mollies can be territorial.when i bought 2 females for my lone black
female balloon molly she was very aggresive because the other 2 was trying to get my attention (sorry girls i cant go inter species)
then i bought a male sailfin balloon molly and they all fought over him(

mollies are horrible fish! i had some that went on a rampage and they killed like 5 fish! so i put it in w/the betta 2 teach it a lesson and it chased it all over the tank flarring at it. it didnt kill anyone scence.
and all male live bearers figh w/eachother. make sure u have 2 females for each male.
