Homer's quite the aggressive betta! He spends most, if not all of the day flaring at his reflection, which was ok by me until 1) the little guy got too aggresive and ended up with injuring himself (there was a small wound on the side of his face which is currently healing) and 2) he's been at it for about a month now. I took the background off the tank and lo and behold he's settled down a bit. He seems very restless without anyone to pick a fight with though

Backgrounds never went over to well with my guys either. It was almost ike they couldn't help but think there was another betta lurking in there somewhere

:D I personally don't like backgrounds for some reason...in my opinion most look very unrealistic...untill i find one i like im not gonna bother :D

lol yeah, Homer actually messes around in his cave and explores more parts of the tanks now other than the back. He's settled down and adjusted to not having a background. Now if I can get him use to seeing Duff without going nuts. It's funny 'cause for the first 2 weeks or so he ignored Duff, now they go nuts when they see each other lol.

I like the backgrounds I have, it's better than seeing the a white wall in the background lol. On the plus side, I can spot Homer easier now, haha.
