To think! Somebody in the U.K. has won £161 Mil' on the EuroMillions, just only a few hours ago! The things that they could do with that money. I'd prob buy a new front door first, along with new fencing for the front. With my feet up, sitting on a chair admiring my new purchase..AHH RIGHT lol. Let's put it this way. What couldn't you do with that amount!?!?!! I should imagine it'll be all fun & games for the following years ahead, but what happens when you have done everything? that money could and can show for? Do it all again? Life must get boring even for a Millionaire? One thing is for sure, you'll always be comfortable.

What would you guys do with that sum of money?

A big house, with a big fish tank in one room, not sure on what else tbh. But I'm sure it was £166m or €185m. But whats 5 million lol :good:

I wouldn't want £166M, it'd make me the unhappiest person in the world, if I did win it I'd donate most of it to charity, keeping a bit for myself and the future.

I would

Set my immediate family up for life
And buy a huge house for my parents a huge house for myself

I'd go for a driving test bribe the instructor so I didnt have to take lessons lol

And have nice cars etc lol

And I'd have huge fish tank reef and a huge planted and buy the indoor pool near me for saltwater rays and sharks etc lol

Bae :hyper:

I'm with SBS. I'd give much of it away, although not necessarily all to charity. I'd make sure all my friends were sorted - pay off their debts, pay the mortgages of those that had them, and buy houses for the ones that didn't. I'd give some to my family and some to his family. Obviously I'd make sure we were sorted - build our own house, with fish room of course (when I say room, I mean a tank the size of a room! :hyper: ), but I'd still finish my degree, I'd still continue doulaing... I might use some of the money to fund research that needs doing but that no pharmaceutical companies are interested in doing because it doesn't benefit them, but a lot of it I would give away.

I wouldn't give it away, not in the sense SBS was talking about.

I'd pay off everyone's debts and give my immediate family a half a million each.
Buy my mum and dad, grandma and grandad, aaron and keeley, my sister and her husband and myself and my boyfriend a house each, and put credit on the bills so if they ever get stuck theres a contingency fund sort of thing.

Buy my mum and dad new cars, and my grandad and my sister and my boyfriend and me a car.

Buy a holiday home somewhere hot or seven.

Buy an equestrian facility with lots of stables so i can have liveries, and then buy myself a horse or two, my sister a horse, my mum a horse and my boyfriend the horse he's always wanted :D And some Ariat boots!!!!!

Then I'd put some in a fund for little Rosie (born yesterday!!) when shes 18, give some to the cancer trust as i lost my grandad to cancer, and give some to the care homes that looked after him and my grandma. Then give some to my previous church after they helped us out in times of need.

Pay for a group of children to come over from the Chernobyl area for two months. They came over last month and they came into my boyfriends work. they told him that a month in the clean air over here improves their health so much it increases their life span by a year or two.

And go on a huge shopping spree in London!!

I would share it out to al my friends I care about, buy them houses so they were comfortable and never had to worry about morgatages. Including my parents of course! THen buy mysef a house and build a mahoosive reef tank and an equaly big planted! Maybe have a shark tank too haha :D Pay off mine and my families debts and give a lot to my mums charity and to cancer research.
Oh and buy everyone on here an upgrade haha! How much is that gunna cost.....

Depends on how much you upgrade ;)

I'm a nice person so i think i should get a 6ft reef just cause you know it would be the right thing to do :D

A single UK ticket holder has won the record-breaking £161m EuroMillions jackpot, a National Lottery spokesman has revealed.
The lucky person matched all five main numbers and both the lucky stars to scoop the top prize.
The jackpot had been capped after a series of rollovers made it the largest ever in Europe.
The winning numbers were 17 , 19 , 38 , 42 and 45 , and the lucky stars were 9 and 10 .
No details were revealed of the winner and it is not known whether the latest overnight millionaire was an individual or if the jackpot will be shared by a syndicate.
A Camelot spokesman described the win as "amazing news."
Until Tuesday's draw the largest lottery winner in the UK was an anonymous player who claimed £113m in the EuroMillions in October last year .
On that occasion Camelot refused to even reveal the location of the big winner.
If the prize of £161,653,000 has been won by a single person, they will become the 430th richest person in the country, according to the Sunday Times rich list.
Two other British-bought tickets were successful, each winning £1.7m for matching the five main numbers and one lucky star.

With that much, money. *Rubs palms* I could finally get that Fin transplant

My Family & Friends would be on my priority list for starters, that'll be for sure.

Anything else, afterwards..Well the possibilities are endless!
