I had them missing too when I checked my phone at work. Thought my "generous donation" (TFF tax) wasn't enough and I had lost member privileges. Perhaps Jet fuel has since gone up in price? I know they like to use that private jet a lot.

It may have been a warning from the Mods that they may require more than the base rate

Not TFF related, but last time we moved none of my in-laws wanted any of my husband's sports & other trophies. Imagine that! Including a bowling trophy he won with his sister. LOL!

don't you hate it when your claim to fame vanishes. the only accolade that I ever cared about was my Red Cross donor card that I had accumulated 3 gallons of blood on. then I gave another pint and the woman said this card doesn't have any more room but I can get a new card for you. I asked if all the other donations will be on the new card and she said certainly. she took the card and they mailed me a blank one!!!!

The local fish clubs used to give trophies when you bred X number of species. As you moved up the ladder you turned in the old trophy to get the higher level one. Sometime in the 1990s, they realized no one wanted trophies anymore, and switched to paper certificates, So my then 50 species trophy gathered dust in the fishroom, and was packed away. I found it in a box when I moved here, and my adult daughters told me they had been mightily impressed with that piece of metal when they were little. I'd had no idea - it was just a dust collector I had on a shelf to be polite to visitors from the program that gave them out.

I was super impressed by my grandmother's bowling trophies though.

I've won a few trophies through the years, mostly for music contests and festivals; I might have one one in a race once. But the only one I've kept is a huge, real silver cup that my Grandpa won in a music competition in 1930. My grandad and I weren't close at all; music is really the only place where we connected, so it means a lot to me. It lives on the piano which I inherited from him when he died.

I don't have a trophy for my greatest athletic achievement: Completely a sprint triathlon with Mrs. Badger a year after I almost lost her to a burst appendix. But what kind of trophy could do something like that justice?

I have a few hunting "trophies," though I don't really like that word with hunting. Too much cultural baggage. I've only kept a few pelts and sets of antlers through the years, to remind me of particularly memorable hunts. It isn't the physical object; it's the memories it brings up.

But yeah, I'd be kind of bummed if my FOTM and TOTM tags went away.
