Who Is He?

My boyfriend has a cool catfish in his tank and i would like to get one for mine but we are not sure what he is. i think he is an armoured catfish or Callichthys callichthys. can anyone tell me if these are easy to buy at the lfs? or does ne1 have any pics of these so i can definately identify him

well plecs and cories are often referred to as armoured catfish, there's about a billion species of each of them.

if you can provide us with a photo or a description of size, colour etc etc then we may be able to get you an ID for it

look on google image search once you have a name... this is the results for callichthys

Callichthys callichthys- yep thats definately him, it says on an article that they were once popular but now there are so many corys nobody is really interested in them

guess tht might make them hard to find
