Who Do You Give Your Babys Too?

I really want to start breeding, but none of the Pet Stores near me accept fish from breeders. Who do you give yours too? I know Im gunna keep some of my baby fish, but I cant keep all of them

If you breed them, give the LFS some free samples. If they sell well, they might consider.

Try to find out how much they buy the fish for. Offer them for a lower price. If they refuse, and you can't even give them any, try advertising in the newpaper with something like "Baby whatevers, good for beginners (or whatever) $whatever each.". If you sell them for less then the petshops and word gets around, you could do quite well.

You could offer them to peeps on here as well.

Try word of mouth - friends, family, work, school. You may be surprised when you find out a friend of a friend keeps fish. People love free stuff too.

I have given away a huge amount of fry to people through here. My LFS also buys them from me, and even my cleaners have had some

You could try the newspapers as well as some animal shelters... I noticed that on www.petfinder.com they have some fish as well... don't know how that would go though. You could try aquabid and say that you have free fish, buyer pays for shipping.

Well, when my mollies started multiplying like crazy, I ran out of room for all the fry. So I went back to my old high school and found my biology teacher who was more than happy to take some from me. You might check around at some local schools.

Im not sure what Im gunna do. My brother might want some, and Ill talk to the pet stores about free/lower prices. Id sell them on here but I have no idea how to ship them.
