Whitish wiggly worm things

My 30g tank which I am fishless cycling is not only becoming a snail haven - but I now have loads of these small white/transparent wiggly worm things that appear to live in the gravel but wiggle up occasionally and have a ride in the filter current.

What are these worm things... and more importantly are they good or bad??!!

If you put your hand in and they start sucking your blood they're probably leeches. I got one of those from a plant in my tank. Freaked me out!

We noticed some of those little white squiggly things in both our 55-gallon and 240-gallon and also wondered what they are Our 240 is still in the cycling process but we started noticing them about 4-5 days ago.
